Account Settings
Manage your profile, billing, AI credits, security, notifications, API keys, and connected account preferences.
What Account Settings is for
Account Settings is everything that belongs to you as a person on Aidelly, not to a single workspace. Your name, your password, your billing, your API keys, your notification preferences.
If you change a setting here, it follows you across every workspace you're in. Settings that belong to a brand (its logo, voice, connected accounts) live in Workspace Settings instead.
First-time setup checklist
If you're new, do these in order:
- Profile tab — set your name and upload a profile picture (Step 1 below).
- Security tab — make sure your password is strong; turn on 2FA if available.
- Plan & billing tab — verify your plan, check your AI credit balance.
- Notifications tab — pick which emails you want.
- API keys tab — only if you're integrating Aidelly with another tool. Skip otherwise.
Most beginners can stop after step 4.
What this page is for
- Updating profile information
- Reviewing your plan, billing, and AI credits
- Managing password and security settings
- Managing notifications, integrations, and API keys
Plan & billing for owners vs. members
The Plan & billing tab shows different views depending on whether you have your own plan or you're riding on a workspace owner's plan.
If you have your own plan
You see your plan tier (Launch / Scale / Agency / Lifetime), status, renewal date, and the Manage billing and Billing portal buttons. From here you can:
- Open the Stripe portal to update payment details
- Compare monthly and annual options
- Enable Pay-As-You-Go on your plan
- Purchase additional AI credits
If you're a workspace member without your own plan
You see a Workspace member card showing which workspace you belong to and the owner's plan tier (e.g. Part of Acme Brand (Scale)). The Manage billing and Billing portal buttons are greyed out because the owner manages billing for the workspace.
A Choose your own plan button opens pricing. Picking your own plan unlocks creating and owning your own workspaces. You'll keep your member access to the workspace either way.
AI credits and shared pools
AI credits belong to the workspace, not to individual users. The workspace owner's plan funds the credits and any team member working in that workspace draws from the same pool.
What you see on the Plan & billing tab:
- You have your own plan, no other memberships. One AI credits panel showing Your plan credits.
- You're a member only (no own plan). One panel labeled Shared with workspace name. You see the live balance of the workspace pool. Pay-As-You-Go controls are disabled — only the owner can enable PAYG.
- You have your own plan AND you're also a member elsewhere. Multiple panels. The first shows Your plan credits with full PAYG control. Each workspace you're a member of appears as a separate Shared with workspace name panel with PAYG disabled.
When you switch into a different workspace, AI generation in that workspace consumes that workspace's pool, not your personal one.
Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG)
PAYG lets you keep generating after your monthly credits are spent — additional usage is billed per credit. PAYG is tied to a specific subscription, so:
- Owners can enable PAYG on their own workspace pool.
- Members cannot enable PAYG on the owner's pool. The button is greyed out and labeled Managed by workspace owner.
- Members who pick their own plan can enable PAYG on their personal pool. That doesn't affect any workspace they're a member of.
Before you start
- Know whether the change is personal or workspace-wide
- Have billing details ready if you are updating payment information
- Confirm whether an API key or integration belongs here or in the Integrations page

- Pick a tier and complete checkout via Stripe.
- After checkout, you can create workspaces from Settings → All workspaces → + New workspace.
Step 6 — Manage API keys
Only needed if you're integrating with another tool (n8n, Zapier, scripts, MCP clients).
- Click the API keys tab.
- Click + New API key.
- Name the key, pick scopes, optionally scope to a workspace.

Tips and gotchas
- Use Account Settings for personal controls. Use Workspace Settings for team access.
- "Workspace member" in the plan card means the workspace owner pays — your own account has no charge.
- AI credit shortages in a workspace you're a member of need to be resolved by the owner (top up, upgrade, or enable PAYG).
- Your personal plan's PAYG only applies to your own pool — it doesn't extend to workspaces you're a member of.
- Revoke unused keys after team or workflow changes.
