Brand Watermarks

Auto-stamp every published image with your logo or text mark. Configure agency-wide, override per workspace, or disable per post.

What watermarks are for

You want every image your team publishes to carry your brand — without a designer touching it. Aidelly composites a watermark into the source image before upload, so the platform stores the branded version (not a raw image with a CSS overlay that gets stripped).

Three scopes apply, in order of specificity:

  1. Agency-wide default (Agency plan) — one mark for every workspace beneath you.
  2. Per-workspace override — replace or disable the inherited mark for a single client.
  3. Per-post toggle — turn the watermark off for one specific post (e.g. a sponsor's image).

The most specific scope wins.

Before you start

  • The agency-wide scope requires the Agency plan. Workspace + per-post scopes are available on every paid plan.
  • Watermarks today apply to image posts. Video watermarks are on the roadmap.

Step 1 — Set the agency-wide default (Agency only)

  1. Open Settings → White label.
  2. Scroll to the Brand watermark section.
  3. Click Upload watermark and pick a transparent PNG or SVG logo. (Or choose Text mark to type a phrase.)
  4. Set placement (9-position grid: corners, edges, center), opacity (5–100%), size (percentage-based — scales with image), and padding.
  5. Live preview shows what every published image will look like.
  6. Click Save.

Every workspace beneath your agency now inherits this watermark automatically.

Step 2 — Override per workspace

  1. Switch into the workspace you want to customize.
  2. Open Settings → Brand watermark (workspace-scoped, not the agency one).
  3. Choose one of:
    • Inherit agency default (the default — no action needed)
    • Use custom watermark — upload a workspace-specific logo / text mark
    • Disable — no watermark on this workspace's image posts
  4. Save.

Useful when a single client has their own logo and doesn't want the agency stamp.

Step 3 — Skip the watermark on one post

  1. In the composer, scroll to the Image settings panel below the media uploader.
  2. Toggle Apply brand watermark off.
  3. Schedule or publish normally.

The watermark is skipped for this post only; the workspace default stays in place.

Common patterns

  • Sponsored content — disable the watermark per-post so the sponsor's image renders clean.
  • Carousel posts — the watermark applies to every slide. Disable per-post if even one slide needs to be clean.
  • A/B testing positions — duplicate a workspace, set different watermark placements, compare engagement.

Troubleshooting

  • The watermark didn't apply. Confirm at least one image was attached — watermarks only run on image posts.
  • It looks too prominent. Drop opacity to 40–60%; default 100% is often too strong.
  • It's getting cropped by the platform. Pick a corner placement and reduce size — Aidelly tunes for each platform's safe area, but very large marks can still get squeezed.
