Home
The launch pad — start a new chat, see what needs your attention, and jump into whichever workflow has the most work waiting.
What Home is for
Home is the first screen you see when you log into Aidelly. It's intentionally short on features — its only job is to get you into the right workflow fast.
Three things live on Home:
- A chat launch bar — type a request, get sent to Chat with that prompt pre-filled
- Starter prompt chips — one-click ways to begin common tasks
- Status count cards — drafts, scheduled posts, inbox items, items pending review, with one-tap links into each
You don't plan on Home. You start on Home.
Before you start
For the live counts to be useful, you'll want at least one social account connected. The chat launch bar works without any connections.
Step 1 — Open Home
- Click the Aidelly logo in the top-left corner, or click the home icon (🏠) in the left sidebar.
- The screen layout, from top to bottom:
- Workspace switcher (if you have multiple workspaces)
- The chat launch bar
- Starter prompt chips
- 4 status cards in a row
- Today's briefing summary (if you have Competitor Spy or Viral Trends enabled)
Step 2 — Launch a new chat
The fastest way to get something done.
- Click the prompt bar in the middle of the screen — it says "What do you want to make today?"
- Type a clear, specific request.
- Good: "Draft 3 LinkedIn posts about our new pricing launch, with our usual voice."
- Less good: "Help me with content."
- Press Enter (or click the send arrow on the right).
- Aidelly opens the Chat page with your prompt as the first message.
Step 3 — Use a starter prompt
When you're not sure what to ask for, the chips help.
- Below the prompt bar you'll see 4–8 starter chips ("Draft a week of posts", "Polish my ideas", "Review my best posts", etc.).
- Click any chip.
- Chat opens with that prompt already typed — adjust details if needed, then send.
Tip: starter chips adapt to your brand profile and account state. The chips you see are different from what another user sees.
Step 4 — Read the status cards
Four cards across the middle of the screen:
- Drafts — how many posts you've drafted but not scheduled.
- Scheduled — next post going out + count of all scheduled posts this week.
- Inbox — new comments and DMs waiting for response.
- Review — items waiting for your approval (from AI drafts and inbox automations).
Each card shows a count and a CTA. Click the CTA to jump into that workflow.
Recommended habit: scan the four counts as soon as you log in. Whichever has the biggest number is usually where to start.
Step 5 — Read today's briefing (if available)
If you've set up Competitor Spy or Viral Trends, today's briefing appears under the cards.
- The briefing summarizes overnight changes — what your competitors did, what's trending in your niche.
- Click Open briefing to read the full text and act on suggested counter-moves.
Common pitfalls
- The counts are stale. They refresh every few minutes. If you just published a post and the count doesn't reflect it, refresh the page.
- No starter chips appear. Your brand profile is empty. Fill it in (Brand Profile) and the chips appear.
- The chat launch sends me to the wrong tool. Be more specific in the prompt. Mention the platform, the action, and the desired output.
What to do next
- Trigger new content from the Chat page
- Triage incoming activity in the Inbox
- Approve waiting drafts in Review & Automation
- Check what's coming up in the Content Calendar
